Afachemi Pharmaceuticals, believing in the importance of community health, in addition to producing medicines and health equipment, also participates in projects to build and equip hospitals and medical centers. Our goal is to create specialized, modern, and safe medical environments where patients and medical staff have access to medical services in a suitable environment with special financial support for patients. With these measures, we consider it our duty to make a small contribution to improving the quality of people’s lives, for the good society.
Providing medicine in deprived areas
In order to ensure fair access to essential medicines for all segments of society, Afachemi Pharmaceutical Company, within the framework of its social responsibility, with targeted distribution and selection of an appropriate distribution network (with maximum coverage and capillary reach in the most remote areas of the country), is trying to dedicate part of its activities to providing medicines in deprived areas in order to prevent shortages of medicines in areas where it is not easy to provide goods. This measure not only improves access to public health but also strengthens social trust in the pharmaceutical industry.
In line with its social responsibility, Afachemi Pharmaceuticals, in collaboration with hospitals and charity centers, undertakes support projects such as donating medicine to needy patients, including during the Arbaeen processions and elderly care centers such as the Kahrizak nursing home. These activities, in addition to helping improve the health of vulnerable groups, demonstrate Afachemi’s commitment to supporting society and developing a culture of social solidarity.
Afachemi Pharmaceuticals has always been with special patients and pays special attention to these loved ones. For this reason, it carries out consoling and supportive measures in the treatment centers of thalassemia patients and provides them with the vital drug Deferoxamine, with the reliable German source of the active ingredient, Excella, for the treatment of these loved ones. Our goal is to improve the quality of life of thalassemia patients during their treatment.

Blood donation is the purest act of philanthropy. Donors donate a part of their being to their fellow human beings without any expectation and save many lives. Afachemi Pharmaceuticals, in line with its social responsibility, annually on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day (June 14), Afachemi Pharmaceuticals’ marketing department colleagues expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the personnel of the Iranian Blood Transfusion Organization and a number of blood donors.

With this action, in addition to providing pharmaceutical products, we tried to make a small contribution to improving public health and supporting the health of society.
Water, wastewater and waste management
Afachemi Pharmaceuticals, in line with its social responsibility, takes appropriate measures in the field of environmental protection and safety, including the following:
- Using BOD and COD systems for online monitoring of pharmaceutical water consumption
- Optimization of water consumption in production and washing processes (especially in the production of sterile drugs)
- Using an internal treatment plant to manage water used for green spaces and washing
- Implementing a waste separation program (pharmaceutical and chemical waste, paper, dry bread, kitchen waste, plastic, and electrical and electronic waste)
